Prayer List Lumbutts Methodist Church Weekly Prayer Sheet When we pray God works SUN - Sunday Club, that God will be with the teachers and all the young people who come that they may all learn something new about God and get closer to Him. Sunday service, the preachers who are bringing God’s word to us today, that their message will speak to us and that we will be open to what God has to say. MON - Youth group which meets every other Thursday evening, exploring the Bible with 10-18's. The Church Council and all those who make decisions for our church, the Circuit meeting and Circuit stewards making decisions for the circuit help them to seek God’s will and wisdom in their decision making, The circuit ministers for God’s wisdom and help as they do all they are called to do. Also the Campaigners who meet this evening. TUE - Campaigners and Sunday School. For all children who attend and all leaders as they prepare their programmes. May all children come to know Jesus through what they are taught and be kept safe from harm - Baby and Toddlers group which meets in the mornings, that it may be a safe and friendly place to come and good relationships may be formed - Campaigners who meet tonight. WED - Those who come to the church for weddings and christenings, help us to welcome them. Help the children who are christened to grow up to come to know Jesus and renew the christening promises themselves. May the marriages made here prosper. THURS - Any special events and outreach happening through the church and in the area - see noticeboard/church notices. Churches Together in Todmorden - for greater unity in all aspects of mission, prayer and worship. The Acorn Centre & Jesus Video project and youth work done through Churches Together. FRI - Campaigner camps in the summer. That all who go may be safe, have fun, make lots of new friends and learn more about having faith in Jesus. SAT - Afternoon teas and all those who serve them. May we be welcoming and friendly to all who come. Philippians 4v6-7
