3rd Sunday each month, informal worship at Yew Tree Court, 11.0 a.m. Coffee and chat.
We have a well maintained building which is used regularly by a variety of community groups.
Disabled access and facilities.
Links with St. Peter’s Anglican church in village.
Weekly ecumenical cell group, Tuesday 2.0 p.m. in various homes. Phone 01706 812688 for venue.
Weekly parent and child playgroup Monday 1.30-3.0 p.m. during term time.
Walsden Youth Group funded and run by Calderdale, Fridays 7.30 p.m.
We are taking the church out into the village once a month, by holding our main service of the day at the sheltered housing complex at Yew Tree Court, Scott St. (3rd Sunday)
Twice a month we are offering 'activity-style' worship for young people, and for any adults who come along to support and join in.
This is called Sunday Live, and is at 10.00am on the 2nd and 4th Sundays.
Our aim is to be a Christ centred community of people which touches with His love the people of Walsden.
Walsden Church is currently reviewing its management. We are looking towards a community partnership to oversee the building, and, with pastoral oversight of its activities taken on bt Lumbutts Methodist hurch.
